Clean Air Zone in Bristol – Have your Say

Bristol City Council is consulting on two options for a Traffic
Clean Air Zone to control the effects of vehicle pollution.

The two options aim to protect public health and reduce harmful levels of nitrogen dioxide to within legal limits.

The consultation runs until Monday 12 August 2019. The Council are running Drop-in sessions at the Following Locations:

Thursday 11 July, 2.30–7.30pm – Barton Hill Settlement
43 Ducie Rd, Barton Hill, BS5 0AX

Monday 15 July, 3.30–7.30pm – Easton Leisure Centre
Thrissell St, Easton, BS5 0SW

Monday 22 July, 2.30–7.30pm – Hope Chapel
Hope Chapel Hill, Hotwells, BS8 4ND

Wednesday 24 July, 2.30–7.30pm – Marksbury Road Library
Marksbury Rd, Bedminster, BS3 5LG

Tuesday 30 July, 2.30–7.30pm – Malcolm X Community Centre
141 City Rd, St Pauls, BS2 8YH

Tuesday 6 August, 2.30–6.30pm – City Hall (Vestibule)

The RNIB and Peoples Views survey

RNIB and Peoples Views are looking for blind and partially sighted people aged 45 years to 75 years who have only been registered blind or partially sighted in the last 3 years; and, additionally, people aged 75 years and over who might have been registered for longer (they can take someone 75 years + who has an age related condition).

The RNIB wish to explore how the organisation can better engage with blind and partially sighted people.

The workshop will include a £100 thank you for taking part.

They are also offering support with travel costs and those of a chaperone if required on an individual needs basis.
