Improving Employment For People with Learning Difficulties – Surveys
South Gloucestershire Council want to find out how to improve the paid employment opportunities for people with learning difficulties in the area. Please help them do this by filling out one of the surveys below.
WECIL (West of England Centre for Inclusive Living) and we the curious are pleased to launch our ongoing partnership at this year’s Access All Areas event which we are hosting at We the Curious. The event is jam packed with interactive and fun activities suitable for all the family, with lots of entertainment and opportunities to meet with some influential people within the city to hear about our current campaigning work. Come along and celebrate the best of what Bristol has to offer.
When? August 28th, 2019 13:00 – 17:00
Where? The event will be held on the top floor of We the Curious and the entrance can be found at the left hand side of the building next to the planetarium and the fountains. Please note that this event is not hosted in the museum.
AccessAble produce online Access Guides by going in person to a venue and collecting factual information, measurements and photographs. The idea is so that people can view avenue before going there to know about various pieces of information such as lighting levels, hearing loops, door widths, accessible toilets and much more!
AccessAble will be surveying 25 new venues in Bristol over the summer and would like to invite you to an event in which you would be able to make suggestions for new venues to be surveyed.
For those of you who have or have not had a chance to nominate venues to be surveyed, an event will take place on Monday 19th August between 1-3pm at City Hall, College Green, Bristol, BS1 5TR.
You will need to secure yourselves a place – email hello@AccessAble.co.uk
