FREE Diabetes event for South Asian and Somali people at Easton Community Centre, BS5 6AW on 26th November between 12pm and 2pm with Diabetes UK.
We need volunteers to act as parking attendant’s for the AGM on November 30th. The role will be helping people get tickets from the machine to put in their windscreens.
If you can let us know if you can help, it would be very much appreciated.

Services for those affected by domestic and sexual abuse are being recommissioned in order that Public Health have new contracts in place by August 1st 2021.

Mental Health Act Review – Support Urgently needed!
Over the last few months a number of user-led groups have been campaigning for major changes in the Mental Health Act Review recommendations, to bring them in line with full human rights under the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

Tomorrow (13th November) at 2pm we will be meeting with Sustrans to give feedback into how the Bristol Bath Cycleway can be made more Deaf, Blind and Disabled Friendly for its users. All Disabled people are welcome to attend, especially those from Central and East Bristol.
Access Sport want to help develop more disability inclusive opportunities in the South Bristol area so are inviting local sports clubs and disability/health/education providers to find out more about what we do and how we can support them to engage more Disabled young people in sport and physical activities.
They’ll discuss aspects of running a successful inclusive club, with clubs already working with them being able to provide real life examples with plenty of time for questions.
